Join us for Holy Week!

Palm Sunday, 9:30 am, Sanctuary:
We will begin the service waving our palm fronds and recalling the story of Jesus’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem. We will then turn towards Jesus’s passion through the lens of the Gospel of Luke. As we have in years past, we’ll lean on lay readers and props to tell the story.
Maundy Thursday “Dinner Church”, 5:30-7:00 pm, Fellowship Hall:
Jesus commanded us to "love one another as I have loved you.” Join the Deacons and Elliott for a special dinner together as we set the table, create a shared meal, enjoy music and a message, and participate in hand or foot washing (optional). RSVP online or call the church office.

Good Friday, 3 pm, Sanctuary:
This solemnly beautiful service of music, prayer, and story draws us to the heart of Jesus’ passion. If you are looking for partners in hope for this challenging stretch of the Holy Week journey, join us. We will be worshiping with our friends from the Episcopal church and Methodist churches in Vergennes and North Ferrisburgh.
Easter Eggstravaganza, 9:30-10:30 am, Playground and Sanctuary:
Come get in the Easter spirit with games, snacks, and an egg hunt! The egg hunt will begin promptly at 9:45 a.m. We’ll have an indoor hunt for toddlers and an outdoor hunt for older kids. This event is free and open to all ages. Don’t forget your basket!
Easter, 9:30 am, Sanctuary:
“Christ is risen!” We’ll proclaim the ancient Easter affirmation together and celebrate our new life together in Christ. Beautiful music, carnations, joy— you will find these and so much more!

WORSHIP
Come and worship with us! We begin at 9:30 am in our Sanctuary. Children are welcome to stay with their family through the entire service or join our Sunday School lesson after the children's message.

Children (0-5) Playgroups
We have multiple playgroups for young children (0-5) throughout the week. If you’d like to bring along your little one, feel free to stop in.

Thursdays 9:30-11:00 am in Fellowship Hall is hosted by the Parent Child Center.

There are typically Saturday playgroups twice per month. Reach out to the church office for more info.
Weekly Prayer Group
Our prayers groups are open to all. On Wednesdays, we meet at 9:30 am in Fellowship Hall (our downstairs community space) and 7:30 pm on Zoom. If you'd like more information, please reach out to Pastor Elliott at elliott@vergennesucc.org.
